House Heunis, Dorado Street, Pretoria

The foundations and some of the walls of the existing house were used to create a grand residence for the owners. Difficult construction required the engineering expertise of Carl von Geyso.

Boardwalk Manor estate has design guidelines encouraging provincial design. The duette was designed according to the rhythm and punctuation of typical Mediterranean architecture and responded to the local context through orientation, windows and materials.
